Tom Hunt played his 50th game for Playford when he played in the 7-5 defeat by Bucklesham. Tom joined in 2016 from Real Orford and immediately secured himself a full-back slot. He played 17 times that first season including helping keep two cleansheets against The Feathers and Claydon 07. He missed only a single match during the 2017/2018 season and supported the Reserve team, playing the last half hour as they won 7-0 against AFC Claydon to wrap up their league title. In addition he has played in all 11 so far this campaign.
Tom held self-depreciative pride of a clean bottom statistical row on the club website. A statistical record of no goals, no assists, no bookings and no man of the matches in 36 games. That was all undone by one sublime cross against Laxfield, that allowed Rene Swann to score. He has since picked up another assist in the 5-3 win over Taverners.
Tom has captained the side on 7 occasions.
