Max Juster made his 50th appearance for Playford when he started in goal for the 6-0 cup defeat by Bergholt.
Max joined us in 2016 straight from youth football, joining fellow Martlesham Youth players Ellis Rowland, Ewan Thompson and Josh Bolton. In his first season he played as a striker plundering 9 goals in 23 games. There were a couple of crackers in amongst those, a long range effort announcing himself against Pauls and a well stuck free kick against Queens. He added a brace for the Reserves against Raydon.
At the end of the season he was looking for a change and considered center back before learning that Jack Lord no longer wished to play in goal. Max has been immense since, four Man of the Matches, four clean sheets and two penalty saves in his 29 matches as goalkeeper.
Last season Max was voted First Team Player’s Player of the Season.
