Josh Bolton has been voted the Senstone Accounts Man of the Match against Hardy Transport, Monarchs and Athletico Once.
In the first two matches he was playing as part of the back three and was instrumental against Hardy Transport in securing the club’s second clean sheet of the season. For the game with Athletico Once he was moved into midfield, used to protect the back four and was able to use his calmness on the ball to great effect. Ryan Broadhurst, a close second, scored a hat-trick as Playford won 3-0.
Josh is the seventh player to receive three Man of the Match awards in consecutive appearances. The others are: Nick Bingham (twice, including four-in-a-row), Jon Russell (four-in-a-row), Byron Stretton (four-in-a-row across two seasons), Ryan Broadhurst, Leon Moye and Paul Cartwright.
