This season’s first Man of the Match goes to Daryl Francis. He scored three against Ipswich Athletic on the opening day.
In the matches since Daryl has added a further four goals. The seven for the season has seen him jump Chris Jones, Jem Vince, and Ryan Broadhurst in the all-time list, bringing him level with goal-animal Rene Swann. When discussing his good fortune in front of goal this season, he told me that he has set his sights on bypassing Jules Warth into 7th all-time. Jules has 74 goals, leaving Daryl to hit another nine this season.
